From this data we can conclude that a majority of customers of Westfield do not live in the suburb itself, as 80% of the surveyed did not live in Burwood, whilst 20% did.
2. How often do you come to Westfield?
3. Do you think there is sufficient public transport?
4. Can any improvements be made to the roads or public transport services in the area? If so, can you please give an example?
6 of the respondents said that there was no need for any further improvements to roads or public transport. 7 mentioned busy traffic - improvements with roads and crossing including more and wider roads/crossings. 5 people said more and better transport and 2 people said more parking spots and easier access into Westfield.
Linking the data from question 3 to question 4, we can conclude that public transport is less of an issue for the respondents compared toother issues like roads and crossings.

Interview
In addition to the survey, we also interviewed a long-term resident of Burwood and asked how Westfield has affected him and his family.
How often do you come to Westfield?
I come to Westfield about two times a week to buy the groceries and also for my kids.
Do you think there is sufficient public transport, coming to Westfield?
Yes, I think so.
Can any improvements be made to the roads or public transport services in the area? If so, can you please give an example?
Yes, I think it would be better if there was less traffic and more pedestrian crossings. It would be better if there were wider areas to cross the road and to allow more area for people to walk on.
Has the development of Westfield affected traffic?
Yes. The roads have become very congested and sometimes I have to wait for a very long time in my car.
Are there any safety issues that need to be addressed? If so, please give an example.
I think a main safety issue is the lack of pedestrian crossings as a lot of people gather from that crossing from the front of this Westfield. I have also noticed that a lot of people avoid taking the crossing and walk across the road through the cars. I think the traffic congestion allows this to happen and it isn't very safe.
How has the development of Westfield affected your everyday life?
My wife and I usually go here for the shopping for food and clothes and other items, but we also come for the playground for our kids to play.
